Median Fee per Transaction (in KAS)

How This Data is Collected

The data for this chart is calculated by first getting a list of accepted transactions for the given day. Then, all spent outputs (inputs) are retrieved for the accepted transactions. Then, on a per transaction basis, we subtract total outputs from total inputs. The remaining amount is the fee paid for the transaction. The list of fees for each accepted transaction on the given day is then used to find the median transaction.

This chart does not attempt to filter out transactions to self or compound transactions.
