Overview

This chart displays Kaspa's hash rate over time. Since Kaspa is a PoW network, hash rate is a metric that helps us guage compute & Kaspa mining activity.

Mining hash rate is an important security metric for Kaspa.

How This Data is Collected

This data is either retrieved from api.kaspa.org or our local Kaspa node.

If retrieved from local kaspa node, some additional math is done to convert difficulty to hash rate.

Hash rate is typically calculated in hashes per second. The LookIntoBitcoin website details the various hash units used.
