Total KAS Held By Dust Addresses
Information
What does this chart show?
Many datasets on Kaspalytics filter out addresses with a "dust" balance to provide cleaner analysis. This chart shows exactly how much KAS is excluded by that filter, so you can gauge its impact.
What is a "dust" address?
An address is classified as dust if it holds 1,000 Sompi (0.00001 KAS) or less.
This threshold exists primarily to exclude addresses created during dust attacks on the network.
A small number of legitimate addresses do hold less than 1,000 Sompi, but their combined balance
is negligible.
Kaspalytics strives to provide accurate data - our highest level of effort is given to data
validation and maintenance. However, we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy. Data is subject to
inaccuracies and change.
