Average KAS Held By Top 0.1% of Meaningful Addresses

Description

Overview

Address percentile charts set display the following information over time:
- Average KAS held by address percentile
- Minimum KAS by address percentile
- Total KAS held by address percentile
- Percentage of CS held by address percentile

How This Data is Collected

1.) A list is built that contains a.) every address with a meaningful balance (holding over 1000 Sompi); and b.) the amount of KAS held by the address.

2.) The list is then sorted in descending order by quantity of KAS held.

3.) The quantity of addresses for the desired percentile is calculated. E.g. if there are 300,000 addresses with a meaningful balance, and we want to view data for the top 1% of meaningful addresses, then 1% of 300,000 = 3,000 addresses.

4.) The list is filtered down to the first X addresses, where X is equal to the result of the prior step. Continuing the example of data for top 1% of addresses, where there are 300,000 meaningful addresses, we would filter the sheet down to the first 3,000 addresses.

5.) We then run some basic math over the filtered spreadsheet to calculate average, minimums, totals, and percentage of circulating supply.
