Address Count In Top 0.1% of Meaningful Addresses
Description
Overview
Address percentile charts track the following metrics over time for a given percentile of addresses ranked by balance:
- Average KAS held per address
- Minimum KAS held by any address in the group
- Total KAS held by the group
- Percentage of circulating supply held by the group
- Number of addresses in the group
How This Data is Collected
1. All addresses with a meaningful balance (more than 1,000 Sompi) are collected along with
their KAS holdings.
2. The list is sorted in descending order by KAS held.
3. The number of addresses for the selected percentile is calculated. For example, if there are
300,000 meaningful addresses and the selected percentile is the top 1%, that equals 3,000 addresses.
4. The list is trimmed to that number of top-holding addresses.
5. Average, minimum, total, and percentage of circulating supply are then computed from the filtered
set.
